True story: One day, roughly ten years ago, a very smart Shea Terra Organics' boy pointed out that the before and after feet on a box of aloe foot cream were the exact same picture. It was obvious that the before picture had been computer altered. This cream sells in the hundreds of thousands at just about every store imaginable. Moral of the story: Don't trust hype marketing. Read the labels and research the ingredients. This is something that Shea Terra Organics' owner has been doing for over a decade- researching ingredients used by native people across Africa that have been used to effectively heal skin conditions for thousands of years.

In her many years of research for the most healing ingredients, one ingredient stood out amongst the rest for its amazing ability to heal skin. This rare, hard to get ingredient has amazing anti-inflammatory and skin regeneration properties. With years of trials, Tammie has concluded that this rare butter heals skin even better than shea butter itself. She combined this reparative butter with our premium quality, Gold Standard shea butter which works in a similar, complementary way. She then added a large dose of tamanu oil, which has bacteria and fungus-killing properties from the island of Madagascar to further prevent and heal foot cracking. Potent, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties in golden beeswax help protect feet against weather, moisture loss and day to day wear and tear.

Wonderful

I received a sample in a previous order and after a few uses I ordered a full tub. One of the best products I've ever used on my feet. It takes a very small amount to soften and has a nice light scent. I ordered the foot oil too follow it up and together they work very well.

I have in the past reviewed this Restoration Foot Butter, and continue to rate 5 out of 5 stars for the product itself, in hoping it will never be discontinued. This has proven to be the best moisturizer I have ever tried (when used at least once daily) to slow the development of calluses and prevent thick patches of hard, dry skin in between pedicures, and also needing less frequent pedicures as a result. HOWEVER, I'm disappointed that in the last year or so the packaging has changed to include a plastic lid, instead of metal. It seems also that your other products are recently trending toward plastic containers, and away from glass, but unfortunately plastics are not recyclable in many areas, and even if you can ship them somewhere to be recycled they still emit toxic pollutants when melted. I have always admired SheaTerra's efforts in obtaining more sustainable, organic and humanely sourced ingredients, and also in helping with wildlife conservation, but part of these efforts should also include using more environmentally-conscious and biodegradable containers to further reduce the carbon footprint.

Fabulous

I put this on my feet every night; does wonders for my dry feet. I do not wear shoes much so my feet get dried out easily. This keeps them looking great.
