Our shea-packed cream starts with only the best shea butter on the planet. No, really! Shea Nilotik' shea butter comes from an uncommon species of the shea tree. The nuts produce a butter that is softer, creamier, and lightly fragrant. Found growing only in Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan, this butter is harder to come by than common West African shea butter, and its quality is far superior. West African shea butter is boiled and then cooked on high heat for hours to evaporate the water. It is then often sent to Europe to be refined and deodorized (this is what is most commonly found in shea butter products). In Uganda, the women collect the nuts and sell them to the family-owned mill which then cold presses the soft butter out of the nuts. This superior, virgin shea butter is rich in vitamin A. It is the choice for anti-aging and moisturizing products. We whip 30% of this rare Ugandan shea butter into a thick, skin-protecting cream to keep skin smooth and supple all day long. 

Only pure spring water is good enough: Our promise to purity and the safety of our products, we use only pure spring water for maximum moisturization. We've been using only pure spring water since Tammie started formulating the first Shea Terra products back in 1999. Tap water contains chlorine, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals just to name a few of the many chemicals that make "natural" products not natural. It makes no sense to use natural ingredients, and then use municipal water so we simply don't do it. We have been trucking in Virginia mountain spring water for almost 20 years to make sure that our products are always the safest and purist they can be.

Awesome 30% Shea Body Cream!

This one, I bought and gave to the hubby and he really likes it. He likes the thick, rich texture of this of this body cream, not to mention the Lemony scent. My hubby has used oil-based Shea butters, water-based lotions and such. So far, like me, he prefers a cross between a lotion and a greasy, oily butter, such as this Lemongrass, East African 30% Shea Butter body cream. Not too oily, not too watery, but just right. Also, this cream is deodorizing and wonderfully moisturizing on feet, lol. Plus, we love that these body creams are fair trade and include 30% more skin-healing, East African Shea Butter, rather than the West African variety. I intend to buy more of this Lemongrass, along with the Pumpkin Spice Body Cream as long as it's available. Btw, tip: Shea Terra Organics should consider calling this body cream Lemongrass, rather than Coconut Lemongrass, bc there is little to no sign of coconut ANYWHERE in this jar, lol!

Shea Butter & Malawi Sugar 2-n-1 Body Scrub (COCONUT LEMONGRASS)is AMAZING. I have only used it twice and I can see the difference in my skin. It is firmer and definitely smoother. Shea Terra body scrub's have become a staple of mine. A little goes a long way, they have the perfect grainy texture and the product does not dry out my skin.The Coconut Lemon Grass scent is delicious! Would love it event more if it were 100% natural :)

I love the smell, sometimes

I love the smell, sometimes I’ll just open it just to get the smell of it. It has a very nice thick but not too thick texture. The creaminess seals the moisture really well into my skin.
