Jojoba trees are indigenous to desert regions of south western United States. These small, drought loving bushes produce an oil filled fruit. The nut contains approximately 50% "oil", a flowing, liquid wax. The liquid wax is highly resistant to oxidation which makes it preferable for skin care use. Jojoba liquid wax is almost identical to human sebum, a substance which creates a protective layer on the skin. It contains significant amounts of tocopherols, vitamin E. Egyptian Jojoba Oil can be applied directly to the face without clogging pores. It can be combined with other premium Shea Terra skin care oils such as carrot seed, rose hips and pomegranate. Apply Egyptian Jojoba Oil to the ends of hair to prevent breakage and to the roots of hair to encourage hair growth. 

Our Egyptian Jojoba Oil is 100% pure and very rich. Some brands are known to dilute this more costly oil with less expensive oils like sunflower. This practice is also commonly used for argan oil. A noticeable difference can be detected in the Egyptian Jojoba. Our golden oil is completely unrefined lending a light, nutty aroma. After applying it, skin feels as soft as a brand new baby.

Came for the Argan oil but left with the Jojoba!

I have oily to normal skin. I first used jojoba oil MANY years ago as a face moisturizer until it became expensive. Shea Terra's jojoba oil, whether full price or on sale, is a STEAL because a little goes a way & the size of the bottle is generous! Jojoba oil is great for all skin types, especially into these colder months!

Good skin oil

I like to use this as a light skin oil when its warm. And I use as a hair and scalp treatment mixed with some essential oils a few times a month. Definitely need to keep on hand.

Luxurious oil for soft skin…

This is the best jojoba oil!

I like the consistency of this oil. It isn’t heavy. I never experienced a jojoba oil like this one. My initial purchase was for my hair. But after pumping the oil into my hands, I knew it would not clog my facial pores. My skin loves this oil and so does my hair. This company will be go to for oils!

Older skin

I'm 73 years old and have been very worried about the skin on my arms thinning and wounds being harder to heal. I did some research and found jojoba oil might be helpful. I ordered a bottle and in one week have seen results. My skin is smoother and softer and my sun spots are fading which I didn't expect. I don't know if my skin thinning has improved, but I do know two wounds that were taking a long time to heal have started healing and looking normal again. I'm very pleased with what is happening so far and will continue to use this product daily and order more. It has performed beyond my expectations.
