We turned up the notch on our original black soap blemish wash, after years of raving reviews from people suffering mild to cystic acne. Black Out!!! Blemish Wash combines the powers of willow bark and camwood (osun) with our authentic African black soap formula. The combination works at the root of the problem while creating a skin environment that blemishes hate. 

Not to be confused with soaps containing activated charcoal simply labeled black soap, real African black soap is 100% plant-based and produced in villages by the Yoruban people. True African black soap (watch out for imitation black dyed soap) is made from the roasting of plantain and cacao and cooking it with coconut oil. The resulting, plant-based soap helps gently dissolve the sebum that holds on to dead skin and bacteria. Blemish Wash contains additional willow bark and camwood to assist in resurfacing and smoothing the skin. 

Our natural formula is kettle cooked in small batches with pure spring water. Pure spring water makes a dramatic difference in the health of the skin. We are not aware of any other skincare company utilizing pure spring water to produce products. Across the board, companies use recycled municipal water to produce their products. Several chemicals, including chlorine, are used to clean up the recycled sewage water. Water generally makes up 50-80% of skin care products. Regardless of natural claims, products are not natural if they contain municipal water (often labeled purified or deionized water). Chemical-filled water may also affect the condition of blemish-prone skin.

Contains only: Pure spring water, African black soap (plantain ash, cacao ash, camwood, palm kernel oil), certified organic sunflower oil, certified organic coconut oil, potassium hydroxide (electrocuted salt- which turns oil and water into soap), mineral salts, willow bark
Apply a layer of soap to face. Allow to sit for five minutes. Rinse off. Repeat. Second time use palms and fingers to thoroughly work off dead skin. Rinse well. Use daily. After a few weeks can usage can be decreased to 2-3 times weekly.

Legit Wash

This is the most potent blemish banisher I have ever used. I use as a face wash and spot treatment as instructed. It has a good consistency that is spreadable.

First use and my skin is so clear

I take a lot of care of my skin. I have oily and acne prone skin. I have had my acne pretty under control but still had little bumps and things that would cause texture but wouldn’t be full pimples. One use of this cleanser, which was the only thing in my routine I changed, and those bumps either went away or got smaller. As I’ve used it my skin has become smoother and clear. I HIGHLY recommend trying this product for acne prone or oily skin. I won’t be going back to my store bought “African black soap” (now realizing it was fake and not genuine) or charcoal cleansers.

Thick consistency that doesn’t immediately drip into the sink!

I bought this for my 11 year old son and don’t use it because, at 52, it would probably be drying. It has a great consistency and lather. Being 11 with clear skin, my son hasn’t used it much but iPad him put a dot of it on his first and only pimple a few months ago and it went away very quickly.

Absolutely amazed! Have been dealing

Absolutely amazed! Have been dealing with acne since I was 13, I’m 48. Lately, since wearing masks, it started flaring up on my cheeks and chin, the worse kind, hormonal! I bought the Black Out and BOOM…GONE! I noticed a difference on the first day of use. I ordered a new bottle before I even finished first one and about to order another. I’m afraid to be without it. Amazing!

This stuff is amazing! I bought it for my granddaughter who has acne prone skin. I began to see a difference within the first week! She loves it and had a meltdown when she spent the night at a friend's house and forgot to bring it with her!
