How would you like to be able to walk outside, pluck a leaf off a tree, and wash your skin with it every morning? The Gob tree provides just such an opportunity to women living in impoverished desert conditions. The tree grows in the wild in Somaliland where the women have been picking its leaves to beautify and cleanse their skin for generations. Not only do the leaves of the Gob Tree deeply cleanse the skin, but they also improve the overall health of the skin by making pores tighter and fighting off bacteria. 

The women of Somaliland collect and then dry the leaves from the wild-growing trees. They grind the leaves into a fine powder or sell the leaves whole to mills that produce a powder. The trade of the Gob Tree powder is often their only form of income. By adding a little bit of water, a scarcity in the desert, the women are able to keep their skin smooth and clear. It is not unusual to see the women walking about wearing their Gob Tree masks all day long. They say it offers them protection from the sun.

Contains only: 100% Pure, Gob tree leaf powder, kigelia Africana fruit
In a bowl, combine 2 tsp. Gob Tree Facial Mask with enough water to form a semi-liquid paste. Leave on a few minutes to dry as a mask to pull impurities from pores, or start to work into the skin right away. Add a little water at a time to face to work paste into the skin for light sudsing and exfoliation. Rinse off thoroughly. Can be mixed with pure spring water, mineral water, or one of Shea Terra hydrosols.

A Miracle Mask

this is a miracle mask, the skin looks like after a facial treatment in a spa and a big saver. After leaving it on for 30 minutes, my complexion of my skin is smooth and firm with a beautiful glow. Can't get any better than this.

The gob tree mask makes my skin so soft and smooth. I feel refreshed after cleansing my face with it! It seems to help with my skins’ texture in helping to firm up my skin. A little goes a long way, so only a small amount is needed. I use this mask about 2 times a week!

Recommend for dull skin

This does not really have a smell and the texture feels a little weird but I might not be using it right but my skin feels refreshed afterwards. I use this once a week. My skin seems brighter after use.

Great cleanser for a gentle,

Great cleanser for a gentle, simple clean. Not tight feeling post-cleanse. The smell is fresh and earthy. Not sure how it will affect my acne longterm, but for the time being is definitely does NOT irritate.

Simple and effective

This took some time for me to get the hang of, but I love it. I usually just make a paste in my hands and rub it until the color gets lighter and it slightly foams. I just rinse off after a minute or so and move on to my tamanu oil.
