Get radiant, glowing, brighter looking skin. This powerful, self activating mask utilizes potent ingredients to improve skin tone and color as it detoxifies. Turmeric root contains over 100 phytochemicals. Not only is it revered for its health enhancing properties taken internally, but it has been used to improve skin condition for thousands of years. In Ayurvedic and Unani medicine turmeric has been traditionally used to brighten skin and reduce discoloration. In East Africa women commonly apply turmeric to skin to prepare for their wedding day. The ground root leaves their skin glowing. We've added dried lemon fruit to enhance the skin brightening properties of turmeric and combined them with rare, Saharan yellow clay. The gentle clay gently detoxifies skin as banishes blemishes and impurities. Finely ground kigelia Africana powder is added to this golden powder for its skin toning and clarifying properties. Also known as sausage fruit, kigelia Africana is wild harvested from a long fruit applied by the local women to firm their bosom and remedy skin issues.

FYI: Choose powdered clay based masks when possible. Once aloe, water and other such hydrous ingredients are combined with clay bacteria quickly forms. To combat this, companies have to use high concentrations of synthetic preservatives. Many times companies do not list these preservatives in their ingredients. If a non-oil liquid is used, a very powerful preservative system must be used. On occasion pure glycerin mixed with clay might be stable but often times not. Powdered clay bases allow you to benefit from clay without the use of synthetic preservatives.

Because this product is made from clay, avoid using metal. Mix 1-2 teaspoons of Kigelia Turmerica Gold Clay Face Mask with milk, hydrosol or spring water to form a semi-solid paste. Apply to face and neck. Leave on 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with tepid water. It is advised to use an oil cleanser afterwards.

So so good! You must try it to understand!

I got this as a bonus when I ordered my everyday products. I am just blown away. It really gives you a glow from within. My husband actually commented on how my skin looked. My daughter had some clogged pores around her nose and chin. I let her try it and it cleaned her pores completely. She was amazed! I will never be without this.

BIG YES FOR THIS

This, for me, is one of the products you use and then you know it's going to be a staple in your life, you found a winner. I read "Illuminator" on the label and other masks had other headliner descriptions, I haven't tried the others, but I plan to (if I can ever give this one up for long enough) This IS AN ILLUMINATOR. It's hard for me to believe that this jar of powdery stuff can make such a change in my complexion. I do have more luminosity in my complexion and my face feels so much smoother than it did before too! I really wouldn't have known how to describe "illuminating" on a complexion until I tried this too! Just know I am delighted with this product, expect to find it on my shelf all the time! This was made for me!

Hard to believe unless you experience it!

Over 2 years ago, maybe three years ago, I got a jar of this, just to fill out an order to get free shipping. I am not much on masks; I've never had much luck with them. Sure, they're nice, but whatever. I kept this on a back shelf forever....and last autumn I pulled it out and tried it. First use. Uh? What? This must be a fluke. Then I used it again. And AGAIN. My face, my skin, it was glowing, even-toned, and really, I was having a hard time actually believing this amazing transformation. Stuff like that doesn't happen in real life. I used it regularly and about a little over halfway empty, my husband says to me, "What have you been doing? Your face looks so pretty and smooth. You look happy!" I said, "Illuminated?" and he said, "Yes. That's it." Well, enough said, it's on my list of staples for my face, I love it, and it's gentle on my 65-year-old sensitive, dry skin too! I recommend you try this but let me say this: When I first started using it, yes, my face looked great from the first moment, but by the next day, I looked much like before. It took several uses, over a few weeks before the "illuminating" presence in my face remained a permanent part of my complexion. So, expect miracles when you use this, but don't expect them overnight! (but don't worry, I really think you'll LOVE the transformation!)
