Cape Chamomile is finally beginning to get the recognition that it deserves. It is one of those exotic things that takes people a while to get accustomed to, and then once they do it becomes almost impossible to get. We have been putting this aromatic in several of our products for over 13 years and without notice,  we couldn't get any. Customers who have become addicted to our African Flower Power Baby Products and our African Blue Calming Bath Drops have become really depressed. Almost as depressed as we (almost). We've barely managed to get just enough to last us a few months. By next year we hope to have much more as we contract with organic farms to increase production. 

Cape Chamomile essential oil comes from a Fynbos flower that is not a chamomile at all. Early European settlers thought it looked like chamomile from back home so the name stuck. This beautiful blue oil (the color fades) has a unique, floral/ fruity aroma. It has powerful nerve calming abilities. Cape Chamomile blends well with lavender essential oil for a calming bath.

  • Use as a pure, all natural perfume oil
  • Add few drops to Shea Nilotik' Oil to use for relaxing body massage oil
  • Apply a drop or two to facial oil or cream for anti-aging properties
  • Add to room diffuser to scent air with balancing aroma 
  • Add few drops to hot bath for relaxing bath

This oil is quite nice and pairs well with patchouli. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the small but I absolutely adore it.
